Prada

The final assignment for Studio 3 involved the choosing of a retail company at random and then designing a new store to be constructed in the future. The chosen store for this project was Prada. Inspired by its creation date, the concept for this design was the architectural art deco style. Within this design, the knot from the Prada logo was to be incorporated. This was done by manipulating the travel path of the floor plan so that the guests are forced to circulate the floor within the shape of the knot.  A deconstructed knot is also seen on the front door of the store front.
